One of our valued and revered wildflowers, the cornfield poppy makes a great annual flower in our gardens and this seedball tin is full of the potential to create a sea of scarlet blooms. Great for bees and other pollinating insects, these poppies make a vibrant addition to borders and pots.

And with 20 seedballs in the tin, each containing around 100 seeds you'll be sure of success. Made of a mix of peat-free compost, clay, chilli power and poppy seeds, it's simply a matter of dropping a seedball where you want the plants to grow and let nature do the rest.

The clay absorbs water which promotes germination and the chilli powder helps to stop wildlife making a meal of the seed.

Best scattered in the spring or autumn, these easy to grow seedballs take the effort out of sowing, whether you are a newbie or green fingered gardener.
